Volleyball Skills Clinics for All Ages - Spring 2008

There will be separate courts for Pre-high School
and beginner/intermediate Adults
(advanced Adults & 8th-11th graders see options on Wed. & Sun. below)

Mondays - Five week series
6:45 to 8:45 PM at Nathan Hale HS
(May 19 is at Summit School)
May 5:    Passing / Serve Receive
May 12:     Hitting
May 19:     Setting (not just for Setters!) @ Summit School
     June 2:      Serving
June 9:      Defense (Blocking, Digging, Positioning)


Advanced Class for 8th to 11th graders
Wednesdays - Five week series
6:45 to 8:45 PM at Summit K-12 School (May 28, June 4 & June 11)

May 14:    Passing / Serve Receive
May 21:     Hitting
May 28:     Setting (not just for Setters!)
     June  4:      Serving
June 11:      Defense (Blocking, Digging, Positioning)
In the advanced class the above skills will be quickly reviewed and the balance of the class will use specific game like drills to work on skills in the context of team play.

All Monday and Wednesday Classes will be  6:45 to 8:45 PM
at Nathan Hale High School gym except May 19 at Summit School
(enter on south side from parking lot by tennis court and baseball fields)


Advanced Class for Adults or Varsity HS Players
Sundays - Four week series
12:15 to 2:15 PM at Ingraham HS
(May 18 at Ballard HS from 2:45 to 4:45 PM)
May 11 (2:30-4:30 PM):Passing / Serve Receive (note changed date)
May 11 (12:15 to 2:15 PM):  Hitting
May 18:     Setting (not just for Setters!) @Ballard HS 2:45-4:45 PM
     June 1:      Serving
June 8:      Defense (Blocking, Digging, Positioning)
In the advanced adult class the above skills will be worked on for the 1st hour and the balance of the class will use specific game like drills or scrimmages to work on skills in the context of team play.  Whole teams can sign up and work together as a unit.

$100 for all 5 sessions ($95 for 4 )
or sign up for individual sessions at $25 per session if paid at least 1 day in advance
or $30 at the door (if space available)
Limited openings register early.
Full series registration spaces are fully transferable and
can be shared between multiple persons.
Full series discount will be honored at the gym on the first night.
(You can pay $30 and try the first class and then pay the balance of $70 at the end)
Purchase of classes will also qualify the participant to participate in the our private tutoring program where you can hire one of the instructors for private lessons.

Limited openings.  Sign up early to get a spot!  Time of electronic registration will determine place in line.  Post mark on mailed check or time of electronic Paypal transfer must be within 48 hours of on line registration to hold place in line.  Hand deliver OK too. (Similar clinics have sold out in 48 hours in the past)

This will be a great way for you to improve your individual Volleyball skills (Passing, Digging, Blocking, Hitting, Setting and Serving) and your team skills for offense and defense by getting training from some of the best player/coaches in the country. The Clinic will be based on the same systems used developed by the US Men’s National Team Coaches and utilized by many of the best collegiate teams in the country.

For Pre-High School Juniors this is a chance to get more
training to improve your school team and build skills needed to make it on a club team in the future.

For Junior Club Players  this a great way to work on your individual skills & improve your chances for more playing time.

For Adults this is great way to get in the game or tune up your play, or network with other players to help get on a team.

For Coaches this is a great way to learn the latest techniques and drills to teach skills.  (Coaches that bring 6 players can attend for free.)

Participants will be separated based upon the following guidelines:


Beginner 4-7th grade: 1 year or less school team with no club experience          Intermediate 4-7th grade:  2 year school team with 1 year club experience
Advanced 8-11th grade:    3 or more year school team with 2 or more year club                                                     experience or High School Varsity
                  
Begineer Adult:      No experience necessary
Intermediate Adult: Some rec. team experience - Level C
Advanced Adult:Extensive team experience at level B, BB or A
