Biographies for Anna Carter and Bart Foley
Anna (Cesari) Carter was a four-year starter at King's high school, leading her team to back-to-back state titles in 2008 and 2009. Anna went on to play collegiate volleyball under Jim McLaughlin at the University of Washington. She played two seasons with the huskies before going to study overseas in Italy and Africa. She graduated in 2014 and began coaching volleyball at King's High School with her dad, Bart Foley.
Bart Foley is associate head coach at King's High school, where he joined staff in 2008. He is also club director for All Out Volleyball and has coached numerous All Out teams over the years in nearly all age groups. Foley is an Executive Board member of the Puget Sound Region of USA Volleyball. He played volleyball at Washington State University (1989-92) as well as many years of Men’s Open competitive beach volleyball throughout the Pacific Northwest. Coach Foley's team at home includes a beautiful wife and four children, three of which play or have played volleyball. Coach Foley is Vice President and General Sales Manager at ROOT SPORTS, television home of the Seattle Mariners.
