Registration is now open for the Spring Session of our Wednesday Indoor Volleyball League at Roosevelt High School (the gym is on the west side of the school next to the parking lot off of 12th Ave. NE between NE 66th and 68th Streets).  This league will be similar to our Wednesday Fall league at Lincoln.  We use an exciting Round Robin Format. (your team will play 4 different teams each night during a 1-1/2 hour time period). This league is limited to 12 teams which will be played in two flights to 6 teams each.  On the first night there will be an all team seeding tournament (6:30 to 9:30 PM) which will decide which teams play initially in the lower 6 or the upper 6 teams the following week.  The lower group will play 6:30 to 8:00 PM initially and the upper from 8:00 to 9:30 PM.  The time for lower and upper groups will rotate each week after that. Starting the 3rd week the top finishing team the week before in the lower flight will move to the Upper flight and the lowest finishing team in the upper flight will move down the following week. This will continue to happen on subsequent weeks.

Time of on line registration will hold spot in line but it only will be secured if full payment is postmarked within 24 hours of registration or received by hand delivery or Pay Pal within 48 hours of on line registration time.   The team fee is $375.00. Mail or hand deliver checks to the locked box anytime at address below or you can transfer funds using PayPal to our account at [email protected] (You can now use a credit card or debit card or eCheck on PayPal but please add $12 to your payment to [email protected] to cover the service fees we are charged when you pay with a card or eCheck.  Direct transfers using PayPal are still free).  Checks can also be hand delivered to 500 Union St. Suite 740 in downtown Seattle from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday to Friday.

Returning teams can hold their spots if payment is postmarked by Jan 30th or hand delivered by Feb 1, 2010.

(For this league, returning teams means those that played at Lincoln HS on Wednesdays in Fall 2009)

The 10 session Spring season will start on Feb. 24, 2010 and end on May 5 with no matches during the Seattle Schools Spring break on Mar. 31st.

Season ends with a Tournament for all teams on 10th session (May 5).

 

Also note that our costs at Lincoln are substantially higher per hour for each court because we are only able to set up 3 nets vs. 6 nets in the same size space as the upper gyms at Ingraham.  However the Roosevelt gym is in much newer and in better condition with better nets.  There is far more room on the side lines and end lines which allow for better play and jump serving.

All players must fill out on line waiver form prior to first game.  This must be done only once per year.  Those that have completed this for in 2010 for the Sunday Ingraham League do NOT have to redo it to play in the Wednesday session.

Refund Policy:

All refunds are subject to a $25 handling fee. 

No refunds within 2 weeks of the start of the session unless the section you are in is full and there is a team on the wait list that will take your place.
